NAIRONE EDITION
PRESS INFORMATIONS
Nairone Turns His Art Studio Into a Full Skate Plaza. Paris Just Witnessed Something Never Done Before.
In Paris, artist Nairone did what no one else had dared to do : he turned his own art studio into a full-on skate plaza, built from scratch for one unforgettable session where art and skate collided head-on.
More than a hundred guests were invited, each receiving an exclusive limited edition custom fingerboard deck as their personal entry pass. No list, no code: just pure craftsmanship.
At the heart of the plaza, a giant version of that same mini deck: part sculpture, part invitation, part statement.
From the moment you stepped in, the tone was set.
A wall lined with Nairone’s boards and paintings faced guests as they walked in, surrounded by his brushes, tools, and works-in-progress: a peek straight into his creative chaos.
A pop-up shop welcomed everyone with custom trucks, hoodies, and even a custom umbrella, paying tribute to Nairone’s signature board release; The artwork on that deck told the story of rainy-day creativity, sketches, thoughts, and bursts of imagination born from moments when skating outside wasn’t an option.
Inside, the vibe was pure underground; DJ sets, cocktails, flashing lights, and every inch of space designed with surgical precision.
The whole setup lived in black and white, true to Nairone’s aesthetic with clean lines, bold contrasts, and heavy attitude.
Overhead, a drone traced every trick and shout, capturing the intensity from above like a restless eye.
And while the crowd packed in tight around the ramp, the entire contest was broadcast live on Twitch, opening the doors of the studio to skaters and art lovers around the world.
Chat blew up, the feed ran hot, and even through a screen you could feel the noise, the dust, the energy.
The setup looked straight out of an artist’s desk: two kickers shaped like giant erasers, a curb built as marker boxe, and a massive wooden ruler used to measure the height of the jumps.
On one side, wooden cubes were stacked higher and higher with giant pencil, reaching 1.55 meters.
At the peak of the session, skater Mathieu Amouroux (@amourouxmatheiu) launched a perfect hippi jump over the cubes. The place erupted.
And for those who didn’t skate, Nairone had a wild idea waiting for them too: a raffle, with a limited-edition board up for grabs among other lots.
You could buy a ticket for €2, or you could find “the dealer”, a mystery guy somewhere in the crowd, and bribe him with anything to score your ticket.
By the end of the night, the dealer’s pocket was overflowing with random objects: lighters, Metro cards, bracelets, iPhone cases, lipstick, cash, and pure nonsense : traded for a shot at the prize.
Total chaos. Pure genius.
The best-trick battle went off hard. Wheels screamed, the crowd roared, and skater Paul Gallelli (@paulgallelli) and Francky (@kidzfrancky) took their cash!
The top three split €1,000 in cash, handed out directly by the artist. No sponsors, no filters, just straight-up support for the scene.
The story didn’t stop there.
The next day was act number two and took things down to micro-scale with a fingerboard contest, where Nairone unveiled a Black River G8 park custom-painted in his trademark monochrome style.
Two winners split €500, another rare move that showed his genuine commitment to the culture at every level.
From hand-crafted mini-deck invitations to a Twitch-streamed skate plaza built inside an art studio, every detail screamed intent.
Every piece of it, design, sound, light, concrete, was built for the culture. When both contests wrapped, everyone was still buzzing, asking the same question: “When’s the second edition?”
Nairone didn’t just host an event. He built a world, one where art and skateboarding speak the same language: freedom, creativity, and pure motion.
Well done Nairone !
